A dream to build Australia's most recognisable custom guitar brand — from the ground up, note by note, coil by coil.
Venom Guitars was born from a simple but powerful idea — that Australia deserves its own world-class guitar brand. Not a badge-engineered import, not a cheap knockoff. A genuinely Australian instrument, built with care, using local materials, and reflecting the unique spirit of this country.
We started with a love of music and a stubborn refusal to settle for less than perfect. Every design we are developing pushes us towards better joinery, better finishes and better setups. The snake wrapped around that guitar in our logo isn't just a logo. It's a promise of something dangerous, beautiful, and alive.
Australia has some of the finest tonewoods in the world. Blackwood, Queensland Maple, Silky Oak — timbers with soul. Combined with international classics like Mahogany and Alder, our guitars sing with a character that's distinctly ours.
Every aesthetic choice, from the resin art to the body contours, is deliberate. We design guitars that demand attention before a single note is played.
We're committed to being a supportive force in the Australian music scene — grassroots and professional musicians alike deserve great instruments.
From timbers to design motifs, every guitar carries the DNA of this continent. We're building something genuinely, unapologetically Australian.
No corners cut. Every fret dressed, every nut slotted precisely, every setup done properly. We take the time because the instrument deserves it.
We start Australian, but the goal is to put Venom Guitars on stages around the world. A brand that started in a workshop and ended up everywhere.
We share our knowledge openly — build videos, tutorials, and resources for anyone who wants to understand the craft of lutherie and the science of tone.
The concept for Venom Guitars forms in early 2026 — an Australian custom guitar brand with a distinctive identity and an uncompromising quality standard.
Series concepts, specifications and branding are being developed. Timbers, suppliers and construction methods are being researched ahead of opening.
Our flagship series is in development — inspired by Australia's iconic Red Belly Black snake. Planned: resin art bodies, hot pickups, and serious playability.
This website and our social channels go up ahead of opening — with build videos, education content, and a growing community to follow.
Venom Guitars opens in 2028 with the Red Belly Black Series, followed by new series, an expanded custom build program and education partnerships. The snake is just getting warmed up.
